Valentine's Day
In 2024 the CdE was pleased to give the opportunity for the students to send a lollipop to their cherished people along with messages of friendship and care.
Disco S1 - S4
During the past years the CdE has taken the initiative to give the younger years an opportunity to experience the great fun that school parties can be, coming to school one Friday evening for an unforgettable time of celebration.
S5 Prom
As a new initiative in 2023, the S5 Prom established itself as one of the most memorable events among the European Schools of Brussels. Reuniting students from the four corners of Brussels, the Prom consists of friendship, partying, fun and more.
S6 - S7 Winterball & Springball
The iconic winter and spring balls are magical nights for all students, these astonishing events are, with all the schools in Brussels, a time of pure celebration and happiness. With over a thousand participants these events are assured to be unforgettable.
Fund raising – Clothes exchange
In the exercise of our values, the CdE has cooperated organizations to make donations and fund raising, the initiative started in 2023 with the donation of clothing after the clothe exchange.
Donations – MSF & Help Animals
After the creation of the Fund-Raising sub-committee, the CdE has made donations to various associations in form of monetary aid. These donations have been financed through fundraisers and the reinvestment of part of our revenues.
Woody pencils
As ecology is a key value of the CdE, we have pushed for the adoption of the Woody pencils to replace the old markers with a more friendly solution for the environment. The woody pencils where first seen in 2021 and quickly replaced its predecessor.
Hoodies
Today holding the status of tradition, the CdE has every year given the opportunity to the students to create and submit hoodie designs, and to vote for their favorite one. The winning design will see it’s concept being printed on the year’s school hoodie.
Vesti Troc
Initiated in 2022 the Vesti Troc swiftly claimed its place as a favorite. In this annual event the CdE offers the students to bring used clothes from home to swap them for other ones. The opportunity to give and receive clothing is for many a great experience.
Clean UP
As a joint initiative of the CdE and the Green School program, the CdE has coordinated the cleaning of public areas in Brussels such as the "Parc du Cinquantenaire". During these events the students are invited to participate with their families to help the school enforce its ecologic values.
